Whether you book Cheap Qatar airways flights or luxury ones, the airline offers a very generous baggage allowance policy. In addition to this, Qatar Airways also lets its passengers carry an appropriately sufficient number of items with them. However, depending upon their;

  -Multitools.
  -Razor blades.
  -Ice picks, etc.

• Toxic substances.
• Worker tools. For instance;
  -Blowtorches.
  -Crowbars.
  -Drills.
  -Nail guns,
  -Screwdrivers, etc.
  
  
• Sports items such as clubs, batons, hockey sticks baseball bats, etc. are also not allowed to be carried.
• Any type of incendiary devices and explosives cannot be carried such as fireworks, ammunition, fuels, etc. 

Prohibited items for checked-in luggage.

The list of items prohibited to be carried in checked-in baggage includes;

• Different types of Corrosive items. For instance;
  -Acids.
  -Mercury.
   -wet cell batteries.
  -Alkalis. 
• Infectious substances are big no, such as biological cultures of viruses and bacteria that have a tendency to infect. 
• Poisons like weed killers are insecticides are also restricted.
• Radioactive materials.
• Any type of compressed gas like oxygen, propane, butane, etc.

• Explosive items like;

  -Fireworks.
  -Ammunition.
  -Firearms.
  -Christman crackers.
• Flammable items, whether in the form of solids or liquids. For instances;

  -Heavy/light fuel.
  -Matches, etc. 

Exceptions for special baggage items.

Golf equipment.

Golf equipment can only be carried as check-in baggage with proper packing.

Pets.

Pets can be carried with Qatar Airways; however, approval is required beforehand. 

Certain types of cats, dogs, and birds that cannot maintain a body temperature while traveling are prohibited to carry. 

Driving equipment.

1. For carrying air and gas cylinders it needs to be ensured that they are empty.
2. Knives and/or underwater torches required must remain adequately packed.

Fishing equipment.

Passengers can carry nets, tackle boxes, rods, and other types of bulky fishing equipment as checked-in baggage.
