Family Background & Education

Ponnusamy Karthik was born on June 13, 1993, in Malaiyarasankuppam, Gingee, Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. He completed his schooling at Dr. Lemire School of Excellence in Vettavalam, Tiruvannamalai district. Later, he pursued a Diploma at Vignesh Polytechnic College in the same district. He then earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.

His Career Growth

During his college days, business was always his passion. After completing his studies, he briefly worked for a real estate company. However, he quickly realized he wanted to be his own boss rather than work for someone else. His strong desire to start a business led him to take the risk of entrepreneurship.

In 2016, he formed "Namma Family Builder & Developer" with a small group of five like-minded professionals: Mr. K. Govindaraj (AGS), Mr. A. Idhayadulla, Mr. T. U. Srikanth, Mr. V. P. Thanigaimalai, and Mr. G. Anand. They trusted themselves and worked diligently to expand the company.

The path was not smooth. He encountered numerous challenges, learned from errors, and kept on improving. In 2020, the firm became "Namma Family Builder & Developer Private Limited," with even greater recognition. Today, the firm has expanded to "Namma Family Group," with over 200 staff and providing many job opportunities.

His company has successfully completed real estate projects across Tamil Nadu, including GST, ECR, OMR, Coimbatore, Ooty, Kodaikanal, and Yercaud. His vision was to establish a strong foundation before expanding. As part of its growth, the company has ventured into construction and architectural design in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.

In addition to real estate, he also runs "Namma Family Pollachi Ilaneer," a leading supplier of tender coconuts to the UK, Dubai, the US, and across India. His goal is to expand the business on a large scale and sustain it for the long term.

Philanthropy & Social Work

As a first-generation entrepreneur, Mr. Ponnusamy Karthik is deeply involved in community service. Through his charity organization "Seyal," he frequently visits old age homes, providing food and necessary aid. He also supports underprivileged students by funding their education and organizes sports events like cricket tournaments to encourage young talent. He rewards outstanding sports players with prizes.

He is the active president of the Villupuram Tamil Nadu Athletics Association and also plays a pivotal role in improving athletics in the area. Besides, he is also helpful in natural calamities such as floods and storms, offering his assistance to needy persons.
