FuriosaAI Declines Meta’s Acquisition Offer

Founded in 2017 by June Paik, a former Samsung Electronics and AMD engineer, FuriosaAI has made remarkable strides in AI chip development. The company has launched two AI chips:

• Warboy – Designed for high-performance AI workloads
• Renegade (RNGD) – Optimized for reasoning models

FuriosaAI has successfully tested the RNGD chips in collaboration with LG AI Research and Aramco. Later this year, LG AI Research plans to launch a commercial version of these chips.
