According to the sunnah of our Holy Prophet (SAWW), Sayee should be done right after the Tawaf rituals are done. But if someone's health requires them to take a break, it's also okay. Here is a short explanation of how to say Sayee. Saee is obligatory ritual of Umrah.  Being in the State of Purity.

Even though making wudhu is not required to do Sayee, it is Sunnah to do the ritual after making wudhu. Sayee is still valid, though, even if it is done in a state of minor or major ritual impurity (i.e., when Ghusl is needed).

 Istilam of Hajar-al-Aswad.

Before doing the Sayee ritual, it was the Sunnah of our Holy Prophet (SAWW) to go back to the Holy Kaabah and do Istilam of the Hajar-al-Aswad. By doing it this way, a pilgrim will do Istilam for the ninth time, after doing it eight times during the Tawaf rite. Remember that this Istilam is only needed if Sayee is done right after Tawaf is finished.

 Proceed to Safah Hill and Make Dua.

Pilgrims must go from Istilam of the Hajar-al-Aswad to the hill of Safa, which is next to the Hajar al-Aswad. A white sign shows where it is. When you get to the top of the hill of Safa, you should face the Holy Kaaba and raise your hands to pray. Since you won't be able to see the Holy Kaaba, you should make a good guess about where it is and then face that way.

 Head towards Marwah.

There are two sets of green fluorescent lights about 50 metres apart between the hills of Safah and Marwah. These lights show how far Hajar ran to get to higher ground. So, people call these two signs "Milayn-al-Akhdharayn," which means "the two green mileposts." Between these two lights, it is Sunnah for men to run at a normal pace, while women should keep walking as usual.

When a pilgrim gets to Marwah Hill, he or she must stand facing the Holy Kaaba, raise their hands in prayer again, and say the same Duas that they said at Safa Hill.

 Upon completion.

This is the end of the first lap of Sayee. The second lap would be when they went back to Safah from Marwah. So, keep going in this way until the seventh round of your Sayee comes to an end at Marwah. Pilgrims should say a prayer here and then offer two Rakat of Nafal Salah in Masjid al-Haram after Sayee.

After Sayee.

If a pilgrim is doing Umrah outside of the Hajj season (Umrah as part of Hajj-al-Tamattu), his or her hair will be cut or shaved, like Sayee, so that the pilgrim can leave Ihram. If you're doing Hajj-al-Qiran, on the other hand, you don't have to get a haircut. Instead, you'll stay in Ihram until Yawm-al-Nahr.
